The Goal Setting Iceberg - Years 3-8

Hi Educators,

The Goal Setting Iceberg is an excellent back to school activity to help students set a goal. Goal Setting is a lot like an iceberg. The top of the iceberg represents the results and what others can see. Whereas the iceberg below the surface represents the skills, hard work and dedication that you put in to reaching that goal.

Using this visual representation students can make an academic, personal or learning goal for the year. Students can see examples before creating their own goal.
