I love the festivities of book week. I see it as a chance to inspire our children and students to find the beauty in reading. Even if I spend an immeasurable number of hours getting crafty for my own kids' favourite Book Week character...
Here are a few tips for how to celebrate the special week.
- Create a book nook. Nothing better than snuggling down to a good book. Provide your children/students with the time to simply read for pleasure. There doesn’t always have to be an activity that follows.
- Give the gift of a bookmark. - I have a small freebie pack here.
- Recognise and celebrate each of the BOOK Week nominees - Here is a link that shows the shortlist CBCA I have a delicious resource pack on one of this year's nominees SNAP by Anna Walker.
- Book Parade - I love seeing the gorgeous little costumes that come to life.
- BOOK art - design your own book cover.
To celebrate BOOK WEEK, I am offering the ultimate reading pack for a fraction of the price. These can be used any time of the year but can also be used in conjunction with BOOK WEEK. All for a small price of $14.50
